I enjoy participating in and supporting kink, BDSM, and fetish events whenever possible, not to mention getting out and having fun with friends. In February, I went to Mancsbound to celebrate their 11th birthday. Mancsbound is a kink event in Manchester that is focused on bondage, as suggested by the name. I attended with a group of friends, and we got there half an hour after the event began, some might say fashionably late but really it was because SJ Nick was busy adjusting his chastity belt. As we entered the venue, it was evident that attendees had dressed up for the occasion, showing off some of their favourite outfits. There were people in rubber, scally, military uniforms, leather, pup gear, gas masks, and more. I chose a military look, complete with handcuffs.
While I was at the bar waiting for my drink, I took a moment to survey the room and quickly realized that rope bondage was a highlight of the evening. I noticed a variety of interactions, including Master and slave, Handler and pup, and numerous kinksters enjoying bondage and having fun. I observed one individual wrapping another in pallet wrap and tape, securing them to a pillar, complete with a tape gag. Nearby, mats on the floor were being used for rope bondage, and I decided I wanted a go! I grabbed SJ Nick and told him he was up.
Nick is a sucker for inescapable bondage so I decided to put him into quite a comprehensive hogtie, I made sure it was cinched in all the right places and wouldn’t slip too much on his rubber suit. Once I was finished tying him I told him to try and escape, he made a good attempt but his efforts were futile. After a short break I asked MK Rubber if he wanted some rope and this was obviously a silly question. Taking inspiration form the scene I saw against the pillar I thought I would give it a go and I used rope bondage to tie MK rubber to the pillar and putting him into a slight predicament with one foot off the floor. As I did with Nick, I told him to try and escape and he almost did so I need to make sure I fix that next time.
I thought Mancsbound was a good event, it’s a very welcoming environment and I would suggest that it’s a good event for a new comer as well as the more experienced. If you’re into bondage and can make it to Manchester you should definitely give it a try.
